Larter doubles website traffic.

A new campaign gets teenagers to take action.

In their new campaign promoting the expansion of CINOT (Children in Need of Treatment) and York Region Community and Health Services, Larter Marketing and Communications has managed to get the phone ringing and doubled the amount of web traffic to the CINOT website.

Launched in late 2009, the campaign lets teenagers and their families know about the availability of urgent dental care for those who qualify. While the CINOT program has been available for years to youths under 13, recent changes to the program now make assistance available to teens up to their 18th birthday.

Where financial constraints prevent these teens from obtaining necessary emergency dental care, the program assesses each case and provides dental treatment to those who can’t afford the help they need.

The campaign includes outdoor creative: transit shelters and bus boards, posters and counter cards with brochures. Community newspaper advertising also supported the campaign.

PR also played a big part of this campaign and helped get the message out to five specific language groups.

While the campaign is ongoing, the results seem to speak for themselves. Phone calls to the 1-800 number have increased significantly and website traffic has doubled.
