Cosmo Music tunes in to Larter.

The largest musical instrument superstore in the
cosmos chooses Larter as its AOR.

With over 50,000 square feet of musical instruments, Cosmo Music easily stakes its claim as the largest musical instrument superstore in the world.

After a brief courtship, Larter Marketing and Communications has won the hearts of the marketing team at Cosmo Music. As agency of record, Larter is helping Cosmo grow its brand in the GTA and beyond.

“We’re very happy bringing Larter on board,” says Mark Hebert, President and CEO of Cosmo Music. “The value they bring to the table is a perfect fit for us.”

Larter will focus on brand strategy, developing Cosmo’s retail marketing programs and its digital strategy and execution.

Account Director at Larter, Saleena Groves, puts forward her take on what Cosmo is all about. “Cosmo Music has a totally unique offer in the marketplace; no one in the GTA, or the world, offers what they offer. Walking into Cosmo is like immersing yourself in the world of music. It’s a significant experience.”

The first promotion, themed around Halloween, gives consumers a chance to scratch and save on their purchase. The Four-Day Howl-a-Thon uses a mix of traditional and digital touch points to drive consumers to the store.

The agency is excited to work on the Cosmo brand on many levels.

“Our deep experience in retail means we can add a ton of value to the equation for Cosmo,” offers Brian Larter, President and CEO at Larter. “But it goes beyond that. We totally understand where the musical mindset comes from because several of us perform on a regular basis - we are musicians ourselves,” he adds.
