Pointing in the right direction.

The 7-Step brand process from Larter.

A brand is what you stand for. It’s the instinctual essence of what people think about your company, your products and services. It’s what instantly comes to mind when they see your logo. It’s how they feel.

It’s our mandate to ensure our clients develop strong, healthy, thriving brands and we do this through a simple, seven step process. By conducting researching with stakeholders, customers and non-users, we lay the foundation for the brand to achieve solid, smart growth.

“This is a powerful process that reduces the risks companies take when they engage the marketplace,” says Blair Minnes, Director of Brand Strategy at Larter. Through a more comprehensive understanding of a company’s strengths and weaknesses from a marketing point of view, a more efficient connection to their audience is established. “First, we discover the current perceptions surrounding a company, then uncover its potential growth. This allows us to create a road map to move it in a particular direction,” he continues.

The process begins by looking at character, values, targets, competitors, needs, benefits and finally support. From researching these variables we derive an assessment and gain insights into how the brand can grow and develop in the future.

Larter’s StrongBrand© process has worked for many companies over the past few years. “We are thrilled with the new look and are getting very positive response to this new direction”, says Charlie MacLean, president of ASL Print FX. “With Larter’s guidance, we now have the voice and the tools necessary to approach a printing industry hungry for innovation”, he continues.

We’re very happy bringing Larter on board”, says Mark Hebert, President and CEO of Cosmo Music. “The value they bring to the table is a perfect fit for us,” he continues.

Because everything we do is customized, not all clients want exactly the same package. “The beauty of this program is that it can be easily broken up into modules – based on the needs of every client,” says Brian Larter, President and CEO of Larter.
